SHADOWING

Interested in Shadowing?

Requirements

  1. Must be active for at least 1 semester in order to apply

  2. Must be able to provide your own transportation

  3. Must score 100% on the shadowing rules quiz

  4. Must cc txhosa.shadowing@gmail.com on all correspondences with physician and hospital staff

    1. Failure to do so will lead to probation from shadowing the semester

  5. Must fill out the shadowing log within 48 hours of the shadowing event

    1. Failure to do so will result in a 0.5 general point deduction   

Penalties

  1. Cancellation/rescheduling (with a valid reason) must be done 48 hours in advance

    1. You will need to notify both the shadowing director AND physician

  2. Cancelling 2x in advance will result in shadowing probation for rest of the semester

  3. Cancelling without notifying shadowing director will result in being blacklisted from ALL HOSA events

Fill out the Shadow Interest form

If you are selected for a shadowing opportunity you will need to score 100% on the shadowing quiz in order to shadow with the physician
