About Me:
Hello fellow HOSA lovers! My favorite Austin activities include playing beach volleyball at Zilker, roaming around Book People, and paddle boarding on Lady Bird Lake. My favorite Austin restaurant would have to be either Rebel Cheese or Nori. In my free time, I love creating intricate, gold-filled jewelry! This past summer, I served as a TA for Dell Medical School’s Summer Outreach Chemistry Program, served as a Mentor at the Hispanic Scholarship Fund’s Youth Leadership Institute at the University of Chicago, and facilitated the Substance Use Treatment Program through the Texas Department of Criminal Justice. During the academic year, I serve as a Patient Care Assistant for people with disabilities. Additionally, I volunteer at the Texas Harm Reduction Alliance as a Patient Advocate, am a member of the Texas Bluebonnets Spirit Organization, and serve as the Outreach Coordinator for Kappa Rho Pre-Medical Honors Society. My favorite part of this amazing organization is the tight-knit community, and of course, international competition!

About Me:
My interest includes working out at the gym, fashion, and traveling. My favorite restaurant in Austin has to be Korea House (reminds me of my family’s cooking), and my favorite place to hang out has to be the Domain. My favorite part of HOSA is the competition season because we get to travel to a new city and meet with other pre-health students around the world. In terms of my other commitments, I am currently wrapping up my EMT-B license to earn more patient interaction. I am also part of UT Nu Rho Psi. I also love to mentor and help teach others as I am currently working as a Sanger Tutor, TUMS mentor for OChem, and a FIG mentor for the TIP Scholars Program.

About Me:
Hey HOSA! My hobbies include reading, playing/watching sports (especially volleyball), volunteering, and hiking! My favorite restaurant in Austin is Torchy's Tacos and my favorite place to go is Moody Amphitheater/Center! This past summer I enjoyed working as a Medical Assistant (MA) at a pediatrics & family medicine clinic. My other commitments include volunteering and serving as a Co-Chair at Dell Children's Medical Center and being a member of the Alpha Delta Pi sorority. My favorite part about HOSA is competition and the connections we make and bolster while serving our community and preparing ourselves for the medical field.

About Me:
I enjoy reading, painting, and spending time outdoors in my free time! I also like going on runs because they feel very therapeutic for me. My favorite part about HOSA is how tight knit our community is and how much it feels like a family at all our events and meetings. I haven't been to many restaurants in Austin so I wouldn't say I have a favorite yet, but I am an avid Taco Bell goer!

About Me:
I’m so excited to be serving as one of your volunteer coordinators this year :) Outside of HOSA, I work as a research assistant in a neuro lab, volunteer in the Dell Seton ED, and I also recently started a position as a biochem TA. On a non-academic note, I really enjoy rock climbing so hit me up if you ever want to climb at ABP together!

About Me:
Hi HOSA! My current hobbies include painting, volunteering, exploring Austin, and recently solving jig-saw puzzles! This past summer, I had the opportunity of being a patient care and pharmacy volunteer at a cancer institute in my hometown. My favorite part of HOSA is definitely all of the opportunities available: from listening to guest speakers, shadowing, and meeting an amazing group of people. I would say a must-try restaurant close to campus is Sip Pho!

I love HOSA because of the unique experiences it has to offer and the amazing friends I’ve made because of it!
